Back where I come from, a cut that bad - not on the brow but on the eyelid itself - would probably get the fight stopped by the ref or the doctor. If the head butt were ruled accidental, the fight would be scored a draw. But if the head butt were ruled deliberate, which after four it would be, then the fight would be ruled a win for the injured fighter. I don't recall whether they called it a TKO or a DQ, but a win in either case.

Caitlin Clark was poked in the eye with a fingernail, leaving a scratch on the eyelid and a black eye. But no foul was called, much less a flagrant 2 with ejection. Serrano suffered a bad eyelid cut from repeated head butts, and essentially no penalty was called. I like watching women's sports. I don't like watching women beaten up.

What next? A tennis player hitting her opponent over the head with a racket, then getting a "caution" from the ref? If they want an audience not composed only of a few S&M weirdos, they need to clean up their officiating.
