Fentanyl Kills, Fentanyl Crosses Border, And We Do...What?
• More Fentanyl Being Stopped at Border Than Heroin for First Time Ever

We often hear the expression, "Connect the dots." If there are many dots, this may be a complex task. But if there are only two dots, how hard can it be?
An open border means that unknown numbers of unidentified people carrying unknown amounts of unidentified material will be entering the country. Of course, most of these illegal migrants will be neither vaccinated nor virus tested, unlike legal residents.
And as thousands of young people die of overdoses, we do what? Equip police and private citizens with Narcan, an opioid antagonist? Yes, that will save a few. But to save many, we would have to regain control of our border. That would be "racist," "xenophobic," and possibly "fascistic." So we continue to do nothing. We fear criticism from progressives more than we fear the deaths of young people.
What does that say about us as citizens and as human beings?
